I'm Dreaming Of A White February
Can't say we had this in mind when we decided to move back to South Carolina.
Several inches of snow hit the beach last night/early this morning. The city was forced to cancel the Bi-Lo Marathon, angering Northerners who don't understand how we can't deal with a few inches once a decade. (Let's see how effective their cities are when they get hit with a tropical storm or hurricane. But whatever.)
Needless to say, the snow was fun. I even got to do this for the first time in a couple years:
And while the snow wasn't something out of a Stephen King novel, it did keep on coming. While I lay under two blankets this morning, Katie got up and snapped a few of the house and yard.
Thankfully, we didn't lose any more trees -- as we did earlier in the week during a wind storm that brought 40-mph "breezes" into the area.
Still, that screaming you're hearing is coming from the bushes and trees around the yard. They were a bit pissed. I guess we're supposed to cover up the smaller ones with trash bags. Oops.

Thank you very much for the nice outcome connected with this post.
