'Most DJs Don't Do That'

We've put the finishing touches on an eight-day, three-wedding span. We went from Ocean Creek Resort to Wachesaw Plantation Club and back up to Grande Dunes Members Club.

We had three terrific couples.

Ashlee and Chris traveled more than 2,700 miles from California. Abby and Justin were from right down the road in Carolina Forest. And Sarah and Jerry are stationed outside Columbia at Fort Jackson.

Despite different situations, wedding packages and vendors, we heard the same thing over and over during the past two weeks.

"Most DJs don't do that."

We agree, because we're not most DJs.

G.O. was founded on the principle that weddings can and should be run efficiently to maximize a couple's designated window for one of the biggest days of their lives. As such, more often than not, we end up in control of planning and execution.

You see, we aren't simply standing next to our high-end digital turntables playing the role of club DJ. Nor are we so enthralled with our illumination kits that we feel like we're putting on a laser-light show. Our equipment is secondary to what makes us, well, us.

We orchestrate ceremonies and receptions, beginning months in advance during the earliest meetings with our brides and grooms; and we do it for a fraction of the price of hiring additional vendors to do what we already do.

We long ago found out that damn near everyone simply wants the best bang for the buck.

This is what sets us apart, and we have added three more couples who will gladly vouch for our approach.

If that's not enough, we have a few others who would like to tell you the same via our Wedding Wire reviews.

As 2019 nears and you or your loved ones start planning a wedding, keep that in mind. Check out our rates and discount programs and know you're a phone call away from trusting your big day to the best of hands.
